Bryan was raised in Towner where he graduated high school and lived there most of his life, working various jobs, including Winger Cheese, Burlington Northern Railroad for 22 years and most recently residing in Barnesville, Minnesota and working for Bobcat.

Bryan married Corinna Getzlaff on December 18, 1992 and had one son, Jesse James.  Bryan loved his family and friends, but his real passion was cars! Anytime anyone needed a mechanic, a tow or a tire changed, he was always there willing to lend a helping hand. Bryan got involved in Enduro Racing, which turned into a family event as two of his brothers joined him on the track and eventually even his son took his turn on the dirt track. Bryan was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed the pursuit of the elusive whitetail deer.
