Linda  Lou Gilderhus, age 66 of Rugby died Friday,  January 16th, 2015 at her home under the care of her family and  Heart of America Hospice. 
                      
                      Linda  was born June 23rd, 1948 in New Rockford, North Dakota to Adolph and  Katherine Ann (Bachmeier) Gilderhus.  She  was reared in the rural home of her parents in Sheyenne, North Dakota  and graduated from High School there.  In  1966, Linda moved with her family to Vancouver,   Washington.  Linda was united in marriage to Daniel May in  1968 and to this union, three children where born.  The family moved to Camas, Washington in 1979 and later adopted another  daughter.  Linda and Daniel dissolved  their marriage in 1995.  In 1997, she  married Jeffery Jentsch and they remained a married couple until 2010.  Linda moved back to her home state of North Dakota in 2009. 
                      
                      Linda  did home healthcare for many years, was devoted to God and her family.  Her loving nature was a blessing to those who  knew her. 
                      
                      She  is survived by 2 sons, Jay (Helen) May and Curtis (Wanda) May, all of Camas  Washington; two daughters, LaNette May Stevens and husband, Bruce of Washougal,  Washington and Ruth (Terry) Chidester of Longview, Washington; 10  grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 7 sisters, Sherri Fingerson, Sheyenne,  Beverly Gange and Nedi (Ethan) Clark, all of Camas, Washington; Bonnie (Jack)  Anderson, Ridgefield, Washington, Sheila Carlisle and Jean (Jay) Alexander, all  of Washougal, Washington and Joan (Jonathan Cole) Gilderhus of Vancouver,  Washington; 4 brothers, Norman and David Gilderhus, both of Camus, Washington,  Ronald (Brenda) Gilderhus, Washougal, Washington and Darrell (Lucinda) of White  Salmon, Washington.  She was preceded in  death by her parents. 
                      
                      
                      
                    Memorial Services were held Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the  Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Rugby  with private burial services at a latter time.   David Thompson, officiating.   |
