Rhonda Gail  (Tofte) Brossart, the daughter of Arwin and Ruby (Billehus) Tofte was born on  August 1, 1953 at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.  She died at the age of 59 years of natural  causes on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at the Heart of America Care Center in Rugby, North    Dakota. 
                      Rhonda was  raised in the Rugby home of her parents and graduated from Rugby High School.  She completed her education at Minot State  College.  Following college, she moved to  Grand Forks and later to Germany and Pennsylvania.  She returned to Rugby,  where she worked at the Haaland Estates and the Heart of America Medical Center  as a CNA, where she enjoyed working in activities with the residents.  After leaving the hospital, she worked for  the Connection, later to be named MTI as a telemarketing service  representative.  Rhonda enjoyed craft  work, quilting, needle point, crocheting and was especially proud to be an EMT  with the ambulance service. 
                      Survivors  include one son, Howard Duck of Rugby; her father of Rugby; two brothers, Doug  and David, both of Rugby; a sister-in-law, Jolene and husband, Ken Higbee of  Rugby, a niece, Jennifer Tofte of Bismarck; a nephew, Justin (Kristi) Tofte of  Rugby; other relatives and friends.  She  was preceded in death by one son, Travis Duck; a brother, Dwight Tofte; and her  mother.   
                                   
                      
                      Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March  2, 2013 at Bethany   Lutheran Church  in Rugby with spring burial in the Persilla   Watts Cemetery.  Pastor Dana Holter, Officiating.  There will be no visitation or reviewal. 
                    Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the time of services on  Saturday.  |
